CS Awards – Voting and judging FAQs

We would like to thank everyone so far for your interest in helping support the Creative Student Awards. We have been overwhelmed by the level of response. Ahead of the launch of the competition, we have put together a short list of FAQs to answer some of the common questions that have been coming up.

  • If I would like to vote, do I need to sign up anywhere?

No, we will be sending a monthly email with details on the latest shortlist, as well as updating our website and social media pages. Keep an eye out for the hashtag #CSAwards16 and updates on our below profiles!

  • How long will it take?

Voting will take no longer than a minute or two.

  • Is there a difference between voting for the monthly shortlist and being on the judging panel?

Yes, the monthly winner will be decided via a public vote, involving industry professionals, like yourself, peers and fellow students. The winner of each monthly vote will then be entered into the grand finale, which will take place at the end of the year and be judged by a panel of industry experts.

  • Will I get paid?

No 🙂

  • What do you need from me?

We don’t need much; just keep an eye out each month for the shortlist and take a few moments to decide which you think is best.

  • Do I need a background in the category to vote?

No, votes are welcome from anyone across all of the categories.

  • Will there be a shortlist from each category?

No. The monthly shortlist will be made up of the top entries from all of the categories combined.

  • Do I have to vote every month?

No, but the more support you can give the students, the better!
