S4R Creative Student Awards

What are the CS Awards?

The Solutions 4 Recruitment Creative Student Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the plethora of creative talent across the UK.

The awards are open to anyone and work as follows:

Each month, the S4R team will shortlist the standard competition entries. The monthly shortlist will be publicised on our website and across our social media channels. Everyone shortlisted will be notified in advance. If shortlisted, you are encouraged to promote your entry online to capture votes. The monthly winner will be decided via a public online vote, the winner being the entry with the most votes at the end of the month.

How do I enter?

It is quick and easy. You can submit as many entries as you like each month, across these 8 categories:

  • Advertising
  • Audio / Video & Animation
  • Blog
  • Branding
  • Copy & PR
  • Photography
  • Social Media
  • Web & App

Simply email csawards@solutions4recruitment.com with your name and contact details, along with your entry (either attached or linked to) and confirmation of which category you are entering. You can also submit entries via our social media channels, with the hashtag #CSAwards17

Monthly Prize

 

vouchers

The monthly winner will win £30 in vouchers of their choice and a place in the end of year competition final.

Grand Final

There will be an end of year grand final from the pool of monthly winners, where the Creative Student Award 2017/18 winner will be chosen by a panel of industry judges.

The overall competition winner will receive the accolade of being crowned the 2017/18 Creative Student Awards Winner, along with a trophy, £300 cash prize and the opportunity to have their winning entry showcased throughout the UK marketing and design community.

All Images / Screenshots provided must be at least 1000px wide (ideally 2000px+ wide)

Rules of Entry

Submissions

  • Entries should be submitted by email at csawards@solutions4recruitment.com or via social media through the #CSAwards17
  • Only files of type .doc, .docx, .mp4, .mov, .pdf, .jpeg or .png will be accepted
  • All submissions must include a name, contact email address and name of University you attend/attended
  • You can enter 1 submission per category per month, meaning you can make up to 8 submissions each month
  • Submissions must be received by the last Friday of each month to be considered for entry into that month’s competition
  • Copyright will remain with the entrant, but all entrants must agree to publication of their submission/s on the Solutions 4 Recruitment website, social media platforms and other marketing channels, including but not limited to digital and printed material.

Judging

  • Each month, Solutions 4 Recruitment will choose a shortlist from the submitted entries. These will be publicised on the Solutions 4 Recruitment website and social media channels. The monthly winner will be chosen through an open voting system, the winner being the entry with the most votes. If shortlisted, entrants are encouraged to promote their entry via social media in order to attract votes.
  • All monthly winners will be entered into a grand final competition, with the overall winner being decided by a panel of independent judges.
  • The judges’ decision will be final and no individual correspondence will be entered into.
  • Winners will be decided as soon as possible after each monthly deadline, with a formal announcement made on Solutions 4 Recruitment website and social media channels.

General Rules

  • There is no entry fee for this competition
  • The competition is open to anyone who is a student currently or has been within the last 12 months, within the United Kingdom
  • Entries must be relevant and in the spirit of the competition
  • Entries must be in English
  • All copy entries or supporting submissions must be word processed and double spaced, with pages numbered
  • All entrants must be 18 years of age or over
  • Entries must be entirely the work of the entrant and not the work of a group
  • The competition is managed by Solutions 4 Recruitment
  • Failure to comply with the rules set out will result in disqualification from the competition.
