The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance operate 365 days a year from the operational base at Thruxton in Hampshire. From receiving a call, the helicopter can be airborne within four minutes; it can reach anywhere in Hampshire within 17 minutes, and the southern tip of the Isle of Wight within 22.
