At Solutions 4 Recruitment we are always looking for new ways to improve the efficiency of the interviewing process. One area we are currently looking into is the use of Skype as an interviewing method..... So many internal meetings at Solutions are difficult to set up due to the schedule of the candidate and a telephone interview isn't always enough. So, we are considering fitting a webcam in our interview room so that we are able to perform interviews online for those candidates who are unable to come and see us to register. The debate that we are having is.... is the market ready for this??? Technology has moved on leaps and bounds over the past few years, but how many people have webcams in their own homes or have access to them at all???

 

We would like to open this debate to the public and ask you whether you feel you are ready to go down this route or as a country are we not quite there yet?
