This year has flown by and my contract at Solutions is drawing to a close so I will be moving up to the big smoke next week to start my exciting new job. That doesn’t mean that I am getting out of the Great South Run in October, and I will still be blogging on the Team Training blog to let you know how much or how little I am doing. We are taking part in the run to raise money for the remarkable charity Naomi House www.naomihouse.org.uk so if you would like to support us in our challenge just go to www.justgiving.com/amandanagler1.

Exercise has been a big topic around the office recently due to the team running the Great South Run in October, but lately we’ve been starting to think about not just exercising the body but the mind too! Looking for a job can be a stressful time, especially filling out those application forms, researching companies and psyching yourself up for interviews interviews etc. The entire process requires a high level of concentration, a positive attitude, but most importantly a pro-active approach.
So, how do you keep your mind healthy and fit? Well, it’s just the same as keeping your body fit, you have to exercise and eat the right foods! Throughout August we will giving you different ways of keeping your mind fit, from brain puzzles to what types of foods increase your brainpower so you can be fit and healthy when you are looking for the perfect role with Solutions.

Well it’s only 87 days until the big day when the team don their trainers and take to Portsmouth’s streets for The Great South Run. The team have been training hard and are starting to get nervous about actually how long 10 miles is! We have all been blogging about our somewhat flimsy training regimes, so why not have a laugh and check it out.
The method behind our madness is that we have adopted Naomi House www.naomihouse.org.uk as our charity of the year and have been working hard to raise as much money as we can. We are hoping to raise £2000 from the Great South Run and so far we have 5%, so we’ve got a fair way to go yet.
If you would like to support our challenge and raise money for Naomi House, we have set up a justgiving page to make it as easy as possible for you to donate. All you need to do is follow the link below:

It's 156 days until the Great South Run (not that we're counting) and the team's training is in full swing!! We've been running 3 times a week and Carole, Rose and Emma even did the Swanmore Fun Run last weekend to test their training, of which, i would like to say a big well done!
We are running the race for our charity of the year Naomi House www.naomihouse.org.uk and we will be setting up a justgiving page for anyone that would like to sponsor us! We'll let you know when it's up and running.
The trainers have been fitted and we've got all the kit so catch up with us on the blog for updates...
